2024 | JEPL - Installation Of Reverse Osmosis Plant

JEPL inaugurated and handover of Reverse Osmosis (RO) Plant at Veljerla, another CSR initiative to support the Mandal Parishad Primary School and villagers. This facility will provide clean and safe drinking water to the local community, empowering both the villagers and students with access to quality water, benefitting approx. 3,000 people. We are committed to making a lasting positive impact in the communities we serve, contributing towards a healthier and more sustainable future.

2024 | JEPL - Donated Sports Equipments

JEPL had the privilege of donating sports equipments to Telangana Residential School & Jr. College, Balanagar. The items included badminton & hockey kits benefitting 670 students, promoting active lifestyles and fostering a love for sports among the youth.

TTPL donated 20 recycled plastic benches to Govt Midle school in Prammadesam, Perambalur. This initiative will positively impact 215 students, providing them with a more comfortable learning environment

2024 | TTPL - Handed Benches & Desks

TTPL team had the privilege of delivering 25 school benches and desks to Labaikudikadu High School in Perambalur district as part of our CSR initiative. Grateful for the warm reception from the school who expressed their appreciation. Additionally, our team provided stationery items including pencils, colour sketches, erasers, scales, colour pencils and pouches, benefiting 310 students in 1st to 5th classes. 2023| JEPL - Installation of RO Plant

JEPL team installed a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant at Mandal Parishad Primary School in Duskal, ensuring clean water for 450 students.Furthermore, a 1,000-liter capacity Reverse Osmosis Process Water Purifier Plant was constructed at Kadiyalakunta Thanda for Mandal Parishad Primary School, benefiting approximately 650 individuals, including students and villagers. These initiatives reflect our commitment to improving communities’ access to safe drinking water.

2023 | JEPL - Installation of Reverse Osmosis Process Plant

Under the Project ‘Jal Jeevan’, for the rural area development, JEPL team installed Reverse Osmosis Process Plant (Water Purifier plant) of 5000 litres capacity at Raikal Zilla Parishad High School, government aid school benefitting villagers.

The RO plant was inaugurated by isadak’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mr. Marc Seto in the presence of the village Sarpanch and the school staff. The villagers and Sarpanch have appreciated the company’s social cause and this news was published in Nava Telangana’s district daily edition.

Benches Provided To Government Aided Schools

With a theme of promoting education, JEPL has taken initiative under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of providing benches to Government aided schools in the villages which are connected through our project highway. This year, we have provided total of 79 benches to 5 schools located in different villages.

Road Safety education project conducted as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by Abertis India.

Road safety education Project was carried out at 36 villages located nearby Raikal Toll Plaza in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana State in India as in initiative under the Corporate Social Responsibility programme. The project was executed in association with Rural development Trust (RDT) which was founded by Mr. Vincent Ferrer and his work partner Mrs. Anne Ferrer in the year 1969 at Ananthapuram, Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh.

The main objective of this project was to spread awareness and reduce road accidents amongst the general public, students, villagers and vehicle users and be successful in saving lives of several citizens. The total duration of the project was for around four months starting from 25th January 2019 to 17th May 2019.

List of activities conducted during the project are –
*      Conducted awareness campaigns in 36 villages, secondary schools and industrial areas around Raikal Toll plaza in Ranga Reddy district.
*      Conducted essay writing/picture painting competitions to the students and distributed prizes for the performers.  
*      Wall paintings in different places in 36 villages  
*      Providing breath analysers with printers to the traffic police.  
*      Erection of hoardings and sign boards in the crucial locations  
*      Distribution of pamphlets in the villages as well as in the Toll plaza.

Conclave on CSR Road Safety Project was conducted on 13th March, 2019 at JEPL Raikal Toll Plaza in presence of Mr. Josep Quiles – CEO of Abertis India, Traffic Inspector of Raikal region – Mr. S Sunil, Vincente Ferrer RDT officials, Zilla Parishad and Raikal Village High School teachers and children and JEPL staff.

The dignitaries expressed their concerns on road accidents, emphasized the importance of road safety, ways of mitigation, distributed pamphlets and also presented breathe analyzers to Mr. S Sunil as part of this Project. Awards were distributed on this occasion to the winners of essay writing and painting competitions conducted in various schools on road safety topic.

Though the governments have taken various preventive measures to ensure the safety of the citizens using road, there is still a need for stringent implementation of measures or rules. It is collective effort which calls for fulfilling of social responsibility. Hopefully, this initiative has attained its aim in spreading awareness and educating people at root level. “If we join hands, we can transform this world”.     

2018 | JEPL - Blood donation camp

On 15th day of Oct’2018, a blood donation camp was organized at isadak – JEPL in association with Indian Red Cross Society. The event was organized to commemorate 87th birth anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India. Senior officials of Police administration and local authorities started the event by garlanding the momento of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam followed by inaugurating the blood donation camp. Police administration and local authorities appreciated team isadak- JEPL towards commemorating the birth anniversary of famous personality Mr. Kalam by conducting free blood donation camp. They also recalled the life history of Mr. Kalam, who born in a poor family and elevated to the highest levels as a famous scientist and president of India by overcoming many hurdles in life. They exhorted everyone to take Mr. Kalam as role model and to reach the highest levels in their own professions.

During the camp a total of 140 units of blood was donated by JEPL staff and other sub-contractors at JEPL. Following the camp, Mr. Ronald Rose, I.A.S., Collector & District Magistrate sent certificate of appreciation to isadak- JEPL staff.

2024 | 15th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion

At the ’15th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion’, UNICEF has launched an important dialogue on road safety. Before the event, isadak, a subsidiary of Abertis, participated in the ‘Safety 2024’ workshop, held by UNICEF India and Safe Kids Worldwide. Experts gathered to discuss the importance and need to enhance road safety systems, ensuring safer and more sustainable mobility for young people.
The collaboration between UNICEF and Abertis Foundation in favour of road safety is the fundamental pillar of our alliance. With this objective, we carry out initiatives such as ‘Rights of Way’ together with UNICEF Spain and road safety campaigns in Brazil with UNICEF Brazil.

2024 | Strengthening Road Safety Initiatives: isadak in collaboration with UNICEF India to Promote Child Safety and Awareness

Under the global alliance of Fundación Abertis with UNICEF, isadak hosted UNICEF India representatives at Delhi World School, Shadnagar, showcasing our ongoing Road Safety Awareness campaigns. Together with Shadnagar Traffic Police Department, we conducted key training sessions for school bus drivers, emphasizing the paramount importance of road safety. UNICEF India team delivered insightful speeches, underscoring their commitment to safer roads for children. The road safety draft curriculum was presented by IIPH (Indian Institute of Public Health) with the support of UNICEF India to all school teachers and management at Model School, MANUU.
Further to this, productive discussions at IIPH office at Hyderabad, brought together stakeholders from the Transport department, IIPH, NGO IDF, IIT Hyderabad, UNICEF India & isadak. We shared insights on our helmet detection solution through AI, paving the way for collaborative efforts in enhancing Road Safety Initiatives. Visiting Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), we met Vice-Chancellor Mr. Syed Ainul Hasan for support on road safety initiatives. Constructive meeting with the Hon’ble Transport Minister of Telangana, Sri Ponnam Prabhakar to discuss opportunities for support and collaboration on road safety initiatives in Telangana.

2024 | JEPL & TTPL - World Environment Day & 'Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam' Initiative

To celebrate World Environment Day, JEPL led an impactful tree plantation drive along NH-44 in Hyderabad. This initiative is a part of the Green Highway program, contributing not only to the environment but also to the nation-building efforts. In line with NHAI’s environmental sustainability goals, the drive was organized under the theme ‘Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam’. A dedicated team, including NHAI PIU Hyderabad PD, IE, and the Concessionaire Team, actively participated in planting trees, reinforcing their commitment to a greener future.

Similarly, in honor of World Environment Day, TTPL organized a tree-planting campaign on NH-38 in Trichy. This event highlighted their continued dedication to the environment, where the team, along with NHAI Trichy PD, planted numerous trees under the ‘Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam’ initiative. This collaborative effort strengthens the commitment to creating a safer and greener transportation infrastructure. Together, we’re building a more sustainable future.

2024 | Alliance between Abertis Foundation & UNICEF

As part of the renewed alliance between Abertis Foundation and UNICEF, isadak participated in a consultation on road safety at UNICEF headquarters in Delhi.

Other participants in this consultation included Dr. Syed Hubbe Ali from UNICEF, Dr. M Gautham from NIMHANS, Mr. Srinivas Puppala from Deputy Transport Commissioner of Police in Adilabad (TN),
Dr. Gowri Sen Gupta from DDG Public Health and Director Central Health Education Bureau at MoHFW, Dr. Mohammad Aseel from WHO, and others.

The primary aim of the consultation was to address issues and find solutions to reduce road traffic injuries and fatalities among children and adolescents in India.

As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada campaign at Raikal toll Plaza, JEPL project team along with NHAI Chairman, MoRTH Secretary, RO & DGM, Telangana Govt R&B SC & IE participated in the cleanliness drive & plantation of trees.

Swachhta Pakhwada (Ek Tareekh, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath) is a mission to ensure our National Highways shine with cleanliness.

2023 | TTPL - Outpost police station

An outpost police station was inaugurated by Ulundurpet DSP at TTPL’s Sengurichi Tollplaza to prevent crime occurrences and will jointly conduct road safety awareness campaigns & action plan to improve the commuting of motorists.

TTPL provided the police department with equipments such as speed radar guns, breath analyzers to help identify traffic violations. With the use of latest technologies artificial intelligence (AI) cameras located at several locations of the stretch, evidence will be provided so actions can be taken against violators.

2023 | India - Spain Business Meeting

isadak CEO, Ramon Chesa Badia participated as a speaker at the India-Spain business meeting during visit of Xiana Méndez, Secretary of State for Trade in New Delhi, in the presence of high dignitaries and business society to help strengthen the bilteral relations in trade & investment between the two countries.

2024 | TTPL - Overlay Maintenance: Paving the Future with Quality & Sustainability

We are thrilled to announce that TTPL has successfully completed its overlay maintenance project along the stretch, upholding the highest standards in management, execution, and quality control. This undertaking ensures exceptional driving conditions, prioritizing safety and comfort for all commuters.

Commitment to Sustainability – At TTPL, sustainability is at the heart of every project. In this significant maintenance effort, we utilized recycled materials in an innovative way, including 160,000 car tyres and 4.6 million plastic bottles. These materials were skillfully integrated into the overlay renewals, with recycled plastic bottles used in the service roads and crumb rubber incorporated into the main carriageway. This initiative not only promotes sustainability but also contributes to a cleaner environment by reusing waste that would otherwise end up in landfills.

2024 | JEPL - Celebrating Recognition for Our ESG Road Safety Initiatives

2024 | Celebrating Energy Efficiency Day

2023 | JEPL & TTPL - Fire Safety Drill

JEPL and TTPL have taken the proactive step of launching a Fire Safety Drill in conjunction with their local fire departments. This initiative aims to instill a deeper understanding among participants about the critical role of fire extinguishers in preventing and containing fires. Additionally, the drill provided hands-on experience and guidance on the proper procedures for operating fire extinguishers effectively during emergencies.

Moreover, the program covered various techniques for safely relocating injured individuals in the event of a fire-related incident. Participants received training on different lifting methods and procedures to ensure the swift and secure transfer of injured persons to safety. By offering comprehensive instruction on these essential aspects of fire safety, JEPL and TTPL seek to enhance preparedness and minimize the risks associated with fire emergencies within their respective communities.

2023 | International Highways Maintenance Day

At isadak, we join in the celebration of International Highways Maintenance Day. All our teams have the commitment to keep all road infrastructure as part of modern society and sustainable mobility.

On this day, we want to remember our commitment to ensure safety on all the roads we manage. isadak is constantly working to improve the quality of our services and ensure that our users can travel safely and efficiently. In line with our commitment to sustainability, we also work to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment. From the reduction of CO2 emissions to the implementation of sustainable practices such as the use of raw materials or innovative technologies in the maintenance of our roads. Our goal is to promote responsible, safe and sustainable mobility.

 

2022 | TTPL - Installation of Street Lights

TTPL as a part of commitment to the community through its CSR wing under the project ‘Let there be Light’ installed 37 solar street lights. The project identified 3 villages connecting to the highway of TTPL and would benefit 2000 villagers. Due to lack of proper lighting in the passage from villages to the highway, this initiative of installation of street lights will prevent road accidents/fatalities during night.

2022 | JEPL - Installation of Street Lights

isadak’s JEPL team installed 108 solar streetlights in 2022 as part of CSR activity at our project KM 56 benefitting around 5000 people covering 7 villages. This initiative impacted positively on overall development of the villages and the activity was published in Telangana district’s daily edition regional newspaper in ‘Mana Telangana’. We are consistently trying to fulfil our deep commitment towards the society by providing facilities to the community.

In order to provide light to the village roads which are adjoining our project stretch, under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), JEPL has taken the initiative of installing Solar lights with theme “Let there be light” on the village roads beyond ROW, all along the JEPL projects stretch. We have provided total of 52 no’s in year 2020 and 79 no’s in year 2021 of solar street lighting in last 2 years, covering 9 villages.The villagers are very happy and appreciated our humanitarian gesture for providing solar lights to their respective villages.

31st National Road Safety Week – Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Raksha at JEPL (11- 17 January 2020)

Road safety week kick started with an inaugural ceremony and blood donation camp in the presence of Mr. Raghu- Traffic SI,Shadnagar,  Mr. Kiran-Project director NHAI, Mrs.Nagamani –DGM,NHAI,  Mr. MD Ghouse Basha- Independent engineer, Aarvee associates, members from the police department & JEPL team. 

During the ceremony, dignitaries presented road safety posters, pamphlets and messages etc. followed by a speech on road safety.
*     Banners were displayed at prime locations along the highway. 
*     55 units of blood was donated during the donation camp.  
*     An eye camp was set-up for truck drivers, where in135 drivers were screened. 
*     The team also conducted a drunk & drive test to auto drivers at various fuel stations. 
*     Sweets were distributed to travelers who were wearing seat belts and helmets.

Road safety week kick started with contribution from both Peace Trust comic team & TTPL team.

The comic team educated safety rules and created the awareness through street theatre program at Thirumandurai toll plaza, Sengurichi toll plaza & Veppur& Siruvachoor .

*       Banners were displayed at prime locations along the highway.
*       Road safety information brouchers and pamphlets were distributed.
*       An eye camp was set-up for truck drivers, where in 104 drivers were screened.
*       Distribution of water bottles with safety slogans and messages to encourage the road users to wear seat belts and helmets.

isadak, present at the Conference on Road Safety organized by the HOAI in India

isadak, a subsidiary of Abertis in India, has participated in the Conference on Road Safety organized by the Association of Road Operators of India (HOAI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Road Transport and the National Highway Authority of India.

The companies that make up the HOAI-including Isadak, one of its founders-operate a total of 46 concessions covering around 4000 km of national and state roads in more than 9 states in India. With the focus on road safety, their efforts are focused on reducing road accidents through awareness-raising programs, improving signage, engineering solutions, and collaborating with compliance agencies.

HOAI will collaborate proactively with the Ministry of Road Transport and the main stakeholders of the sector to facilitate the deployment of a cooperative, safe and sustainable road transport ecosystem, in order to provide a platform to those dealerships that are looking for this same goal.
